I recently stayed at Pullman Brisbane King George Square during a business trip, and it exceeded expectations. The location is ideal—right in the heart of the city, making it easy to get around for meetings and catch up with colleagues. The rooms were spacious, quiet, and well-equipped, which made it easy to unwind after a long day. The staff were genuinely welcoming and attentive, and the rooftop bar was a great spot to relax with a view. As someone who travels often for work, I really appreciated the seamless experience. Highly recommend for both business and leisure stays.

Centrally located the Pullman Brisbane King George Square is a very comfortable place to stay. My wife and I spent two nights here and enjoyed our time. It’s very busy so we found wait time for checkin and checkout to be longer than we’re used to. Booking parking is also more difficult than it needs to be, especially if you’re hiring a car and don’t know the license plate. If you have breakfast included there’s a great selection and the rooftop bar has great atmosphere and very reasonably priced drinks. The only real negative for us was lack of soundproofing of the windows which means a lot of the street noise is heard in the room. We would definitely stay again.

My mom and I stayed one night at the Pullman and we were disappointed with our stay. We encountered multiple bugs and when we requested a new room, the staff member at the front desk told us there were no other rooms available that night. Then, the hotel manager came and when we told him there were bugs in our room, he came up to the room to examine it. After seeing the bugs, he assigned us a new room next door to our original assigned one. This room was even WORSE. The bathroom door handle was broken, where I was temporarily locked in before troubleshooting the handle on my own. The sink handles were rusted which made a creaking noise every time it was used. The carpet and bed headboard were dusty. Then, we find out that one of the beds had STAINS on it. I was so excited to stay at the Pullman as it was advertised as a 5 star hotel; however, our experience did not meet our expectations. I truly hope our experience was a one-off compared to other guests stay and that the staff can ensure all the rooms are cleaned and well maintained for the future.

To be fair this is really not like any other Pullman I have stayed in. More like a Ibis except for room size. We were there for 6 nights. One day room was not made up at all another day none of the bathroom amenities were replenished. Room itself was clean but very old and dated. On my booking I requested a quiet room well away from the lifts. They had us booked into the room that is by the lift lobby...sigh. However they did move us but the team member had no idea how the room numbers worked and whether our replacement room was near the lifts or not. Breakfast is insanely packed far to small for the numbers going in from two hotels.

The room was tired and could use an update. For a room set for 4 adults, it was not well appointed - only 2 chairs in the lounge room, only two mugs and cups. The air conditioner in the 2nd room barely worked, friendly maintenance did try twice and although a little better, it was hot the entire stay. Only a bath in the ensuite was not convenient. The lack of images or description online meant we booked this room 'blind' and were surprised for a '2 bed apartment' that there was no kitchenette and just a super small bar fridge/kettle area. The hotel overall is very nice. The reception staff are lovely, although tend to not get things right - we had to ask twice before they sent maintenance, we organised breakfast the day prior but arriving at the restaurant our booking was not made (we stood for 15mins while they sorted it out, making us late for the conference). We traveled with two young adult children and the apartment was ok, but we wouldn't pay to stay there again. It was overpriced for the quality and inclusions. My husband and I were attending a 3 day conference. EDIT - actually, reading other reviews, I see something we experienced was not a "one off". My husband and I woke up each morning with multiple bites, thinking it was mosquitos or similar (although there are no openable windows?). Reading many other reviews here, it seems bugs are a problem in many rooms. Something that needs to be addressed.
