Rooms in the pullman are very comfortable. We loved our room. There is not enough staff for parking, valet or bus boy. So they fixed this by adding a $70 charge for Valet and $55 for self park!! In a car park they own!!! Super Super Greedy! The phone is never answered. So you can’t get any help or room service. Not enough staff anywhere, pool is needs to be heated!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent Business Stay at Pullman King George Square My recent business trip included a stay at the Pullman King George Square, and I was thoroughly impressed. From the moment I arrived, the check-in process was smooth and efficient, a welcome relief after a long journey. My room was clean and spacious, providing a comfortable environment to work and relax. The hotel truly shines when it comes to service, with staff consistently being attentive and helpful throughout my stay. The location is absolutely amazing. Being right in King George Square, the hotel is incredibly close to shopping, various transportation options, and a wide array of restaurants. This made it incredibly convenient for both my business needs and exploring the city in my downtime. I also had the pleasure of enjoying the great food offered at the hotel's dining venues. Overall, my experience at the Pullman King George Square was exceptional. The combination of a prime location, excellent service, comfortable rooms, and delicious food makes it an ideal choice, especially for a business stay. I would highly recommend this hotel.

I've stayed in the Pullman quite a bit over the past 12mths, but unfortunately, this stay was far from seamless. While the location is fantastic and the staff were incredibly helpful, the overall experience was frustrating due to some key issues. First, on the night I arrived, there was no hot water. After a long day of travel, all I wanted was a warm shower, but instead, I was left with icy water—definitely not what you’d expect from a supposedly high-end hotel. On top of that, the TV in my room wasn’t even connected, which meant no way to unwind with some entertainment. The lift was another ongoing annoyance. It was painfully slow, often taking an unreasonable amount of time to arrive, which made getting to and from my room a hassle—especially during peak times. For a hotel of this standard, these issues really shouldn’t be happening. That being said, I do want to acknowledge the staff, who were genuinely wonderful. They were friendly, professional, and did their best to assist where they could. Unfortunately, great service can only go so far when the basics aren’t up to standard. For the price, I expected much better, and I’d have a hard time justifying staying here again unless they improve these fundamental issues.

Location great, staff friendly, Breakfast great, but the room is lacking for the 5 star price tag. No mini bar, fridge not cold (concierge notified), beds made but not neat. Comfy beds and linen but noisy overnight with motors going all night (we were in 772). More like a 4 star stay not worth the price tag of 5 star

The hotel location is excellent, next to KGS bus station and access to Queen St Mall shopping precinct. Arrival was average, wasn’t greeted or welcomed by the staff member standing at the driveway door entrance when we arrived with our luggage. Check in was ok, some light conversation though no information provided about hotel or facilities, had to ask where breakfast was to be served and to reconfirm it was included in rate I’d booked. Room was nice enough and very clean. Bed very comfy. Minimal amenities provided, basic tea and coffee making, shower cap, cotton pads, comb and sanitary bags. I’d expect a pod coffee machine in a 5 star hotel these days. Does eco friendly cancel out offering a 5 star facility? The ironing board was old and rickety, had lost 2 feet so wasn’t stable, making ironing a bit awkward. Breakfast buffet was ok, had all the things you’d expect to be there, coffee machine offered nice coffee. I’m not sure how hotels are rated these days, but I’d probably give. 4 star at best. My daughter and I had a nice staycation in the city, though I’m glad we stayed when the rates were cheaper than they usually are. Pullman King Balcony Room 567.
