The location of the hotel itself is fine. It is a short walk to the heart of the city life, but our experience with our room was very poor. We were particularly disappointed with the lack of sound proofing from the balcony windows/doors. Our room faced the venue Cali Beach, which had dance music playing well into the night. Unfortunately there was little to buffer the loud music, which made it very hard to get a good sleep. Won’t be staying here again in the future.

Room is clean and good location. Disappointed in the hotel for not informing guests before that the hotel was closing for 2 days. Unable to leave bags past 1pm! Which can affect a days plan. A simple email in advance would be appreciated or offering to store bags at a nearby mantra.

Good location, but rooms need updating. The frosted glass in the bathroom needs to be darker as you can still see the silhouette from the other side of the room, there was rust in the bathtub, and no ventilation. Our room had minimal basic utensils. Having said that, the hotel is in a great location, close to everything and it is within walking distance to the beach and other shops. Good for when you’re out exploring most of the days and needing to come back to the rooms to rest. We had the ocean view room which had great views of the beach and Surfers Paradise.

First time staying at a Mantra hotel. At first wasn't happy with the room, when I mentioned to reception they changed and gave a better and cleaner room. I specifically booked this place for the hot tub which turned out to be a plunge pool. They need to change their advertising on the website, it's misleading. Overall it was a wonderful place to stay with a wonderful buffet breakfast. Staff are very friendly.

what let it down was 3 days in a row our room/bathroom wasn’t cleaned. We were out most of the days and the sign on the door was always turned to pls clean, the pool/spa was also not working and half filled also the buffet was underwhelming for the price. Would recommend if you are on a budget holiday or for younger people.
