Happy helpful staff in a tired hotel that is in a great location. Over several visits I have found the rooms have noisy airflow, broken light fittings, need a paint and various other tired aspects. Beds are good. Location good. Value great. Just tired. Certainly not fancy.

Nice hotel - the location is great, rooms are well-sized and the bathrooms are nice, albeit a bit dated. Location is great and the service was fantastic. Lifts are quick and you never have to wait long to get a lift . Kate at the check -in was just fab. Kind, friendly and super helpful. She was efficient and made check out an absolute breeze. The downsides are that the Cali bar is noisy and even on the higher floors you do hear the music and cheering from the crowds. The balconies are good but the doors could do with a refurb with modern sliding doors and with better noise blocking.

Wouldn't recommend this hotel for a young family or travellers looking for 4.5 star quality. This hotel is absolutely not 4/4.5 star quality. The hotel is falling apart around you. When you walk into the lobby you are treated to a beautiful hit of smokey air. The whole place smells like smoke, if you are sensitive to that (or an ex-smoker) this will probably bother you. Room is damp, carpets are dirty, cabinets chipped, mould in the bathroom, haphazard and low quality repairs to everything. The rubbish on the balcony wasn't even removed from the previous occupants. For a non-smoking room (and hotel?) there was an ashtray on the balcony... The hallways and rooms need a major renovation and deep clean for this place to look anything like the photos displayed on the website. We won't be staying at a Mantra-branded hotel ever again, put it that way.

absolutely horrid room. dirt everywhere hair in the bathroom sink mud on the bath floor. yellow stains all over the curtains. walls are falling apart and have black stains all over them. toothpaste all over shower screens. very much outdated and cheap linen that feels like a cloth. cheap mattresses. dirt and yellow stains throughout the kettle and fridge. staff was happy to accommodate to new room but the standards are out the window.

Staff were very friendly and helpful Great locations and view. Walking distance to so many amazing restaurants and activities, also to trams. Room was comfy and clean. Breakfast was really nice, but same food for the entire week, so a little variety might have been nice. Disappointing that the spas were either closed or cold during our stay. I didn’t realise until after we arrived, that there was no room service for dinner etc. only buffet breakfast in the restaurant was available.
