Paid for sea view could barely see it on the corner of the small balcony. After paying for the hotel they later advice that we have to pay fee for cleaning but they only cleaned the room once they didn’t provide any cleaning service or amenities The Wi-Fi was not working on our stay, even the room was old school and the bathroom was old and had an foul smell complained to the host he was extremely rude and waste of time didn’t do anything about the matters even tried to accuse us of lying which was not fair even the cleaning staff came in our room earlier morning when we were sleeping he opened the door with his key card invading our privacy and was rude I came here for a family holiday but couldn’t really enjoy our stay I would not recommend anyone staying here and experiencing such a horrible experience like we did !!

The property is quite dated and feels more like a motel than a hotel. Unfortunately, the Wi-Fi wasn’t working, and the air-conditioning was dusty and not very effective, which made the room a bit uncomfortable. The overall décor feels tired and could use some refreshing. On a positive note, the location is very convenient and close to key attractions. With some updates and maintenance, this place could be much better.

Mantra on View Hotel is an ideal place for someone who is looking for somewhere which is in a great location and only needs the hotel to sleep at night. The location couldn't be better. However, this hotel isn't perfect. First of all, there was advertised that there was a spa but it was under 'maintenance', making it really boring while staying in the hotel. Room service was unpredictable, and was sometimes done sloppy and rushed or completely missed. The rooms themselves were pretty good despite hot having a kitchen. However, the glass of the shower was to small, hence after anyone took a shower, the whole bathroom would get absolutely soaked. The balcony could've been bigger. The location is amazing as it is close to the beach and all the restaurants, but it is right next to some noisy neighbours who sometimes make it a bit difficult at night to sleep. The 'view' on this hotel is definitely 3 stars, as my room was facing down on the spa, the one that needed 'maintenance' and they weren't even doing anything there. We could still slightly see the beach and the 'slingshot' which was very cool to see at night. I would recommend this hotel.

Location is the only thing that’s good in this place. Service isn’t too bad. But I’d say it is not the best place for family. The room is too small. Although the sunrise looks good and the city scape at night looks beautiful too. Cleanliness is OK. I just noticed that the lobby doesn’t look welcoming at all, it just feels empty. There’s no elevator all the way to the basement parking lot. You have to carry your luggage up a steep staircase. I wish the reception lady told us all about this so we could have unloaded the luggage before heading to the car park. Parking charge is $20 per day. Poor amenities.

We had a wonderful stay at Mantra on View Surfers Paradise. The check-in process was very smooth, and all the staff were friendly and welcoming. Our room was spacious and well-equipped with all the amenities you could need, and the bed was one of the most comfortable I've slept in. The view from our balcony was beautiful. The hotel's location is a huge plus. It's in an excellent spot with easy access to everything. The tram is just 50 meters away, making it incredibly convenient to get around. It was also great to have a chemist next door that's open late. The efficient staff and fantastic amenities made this a truly comfortable and enjoyable stay.
