Reviews for Mantra Legends Hotel

Thanks to my Accor membership, I was lucky to be upgraded to a sea view room. The room was quiet and comfortable, and the air-con worked perfectly. While the décor shows a little age and I noticed a bit of dust in some spots, overall it was still a pleasant stay. I really enjoyed the spa and pool, as well as the gym and sauna. They also have a breakfast buffet – I didn’t try it, but it looked great! The location is pretty close to tram station. Also few minutes walk to the beach. What a nice stay! Thanks Mantra legends!

The view was lovely and the rooms were a decent size. Had a cockroach in the room towards the end of my trip. Hotel is in a good location and close to transport systems and the beach, but far enough away from the business of Cavill Avenue of a night time. Had a few occasions of noisy neighbours, one night the young lads were screaming off the balcony at 1am and was very disruptive. Other than this, I would possibly stay here again.

Had a wonderful time staying at Mantra Legends. The staff at reception were friendly and very helpful, we were so grateful for being able to check in early on the first day. The location is absolutely perfect and an added bonus having the tram station so close. A highlight of our stay was being able to watch the whales from our balcony, it was amazing!!! We were surprised by the daily servicing of the room, which was perfectly suited to our needs. But the best part of our stay without a doubt was the Buffet Breakfast!!! A great variety of beautiful foods, both hot and cold, much thanks to Hania and all of the efficient, hard working staff in the restaurant for helping us to have the best possible start to every day. We will definitely be back, we were very happy staying here.

We recently stayed at this hotel and unfortunately found it to be quite overpriced for what you get. The rooms were dated, small, and felt a bit dirty not what you’d expect for the price point. For the money spent (over $600 a night), you can definitely find much newer and nicer accommodations nearby. The room descriptions are also a bit misleading. The “deluxe two bedroom room” that’s advertised as sleeping up to six people is actually just two regular rooms with an adjoining door. Another inconvenience was parking. There isn’t enough on-site parking for guests, so we had to park a block away in a public car park, which made going in and out quite frustrating. On the positive side, the location is great — within easy walking distance to most points of interest and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Overall, if you’re looking for a true $600+ per night experience, this hotel will likely disappoint. Realistically, it feels more like a $400-a-night stay.

It just isn't great. Subpar rooms, paid wifi? Also rhe soap dried up my hair badly. Service was disappointing especially when I called the hotel later to ask about belongings I thought I'd left behind, where the man at the reception just left the phone to the side after a basic greeting and all I heard was him talking to other workers for the next 3 minutes before hanging up. Edit: Made it a 3 star because the rest of the experience was acceptable. The hotel's located next to a mall and the lightrail which is convenient.
