Stayed at Christmas time, 20 - 26 Dec 2024. Dahlia was super helpful, her service was 6 stars! Francisco was super helpful for hotel booking, 6 stars! Housekeeping also very helpful on my special request, some extra towels, blankets in the very very late night, still very pleasant, 6 stars! Stayed at 2 different rooms, both were very very nice, neat and tidy. All accor never disappoint me.
Amazing sea facing view. We stayed in a suite with an open air balcony on 17th storey. We couldn't stop admiring the view during sunrise, sunset, night and morning. Buffet breakfast is wonderful too. Swimming pool is not too big but sunny and cosy. Just loved everything about it. You can walk to the beach and stroll on Surfers Paradise Boulevard. There are many restaurants, shopping, and places of interest within walking distance.
1 bedroom apartment style. Very nice with our own balcony. Breakfast was nice. There was no disposable shower cap or other small bathroom items, which I was expecting. Body wash, shampoo, conditioner, and cream supplied. Very noisy from the streets below and we were up 16th floor. But still worthy of staying.
The location was great. The rooms are tired and in need of renovation though. On the second to last day our room was not cleaned well. Tea and coffee were not refilled, used glasses ware left out and beds very loosely made. Someone also dropped all of our cosmetic powder while cleaning and didn’t inform us - may seem like minor gripes but paying premium prices during peak season you could get better value elsewhere in surfers. I have previously stayed here and enjoyed it but the service seems to have gone downhill since then.
We loved the stay at this property and will stay again, if I am in Gold Coast. The property is at the heart of everything in Gold Coast. The rooms are very well maintained and suits the requirement of the visitors. The swimming pool, gym and spa are amazing as well. The parking is also not so expensive and is well priced. The only thing that I felt could be done better is to stop charging for things like toothbrush.
