Garden Terrace
Our outdoor Garden Terrace can accommodate up to 150 guests cocktail style with luxurious settings complemented by modern chic decking overlooking our relaxing lagoon pool. The venue is ideal for an outdoor lunch, dinner, cocktail event or wedding ceremony alternatively can be used as a breakout space for conferencing or team building activities.
Private Dining Room with Outdoor Terrace
Located on the ground level within Fables Restaurant, with French doors, natural light and a private outdoor terrace. The Private Dining Room features blackout curtains and a wall mounted plasma screen. This function room is suitable for small meetings, conference breakout space, stylish intimate dinners, lunches and weddings.
Executive Boardroom
Our Executive Boardroom has plenty of natural lighting, featuring a wall mounted plasma screen and direct access onto the pool-view terrace. This room is ideal for business meetings of 14 delegates or less.
The Grand Terrace
Also located on level one in the fresh air and is an ideal venue for an outdoor lunch, dinner, cocktail event or wedding ceremony, alternatively used as a breakout space for conferencing or team building activities.
Apollo Room 2&3
We offer two meeting rooms which are great for smaller groups as they provide an intimate setting. Situated next to the ballroom they offer the perfect setting for breakout sessions. These rooms can be joined to create a space seating 50 delegates theatre style. Individually, room one and two seat 18 respectively.
Apollo Ballroom
Apollo Ballroom features natural light at the northern end, dual drop-down screens, and ceiling mounted data projectors facing east. The ballroom can divided into three sections should additional breakout rooms be required.
Apollo Ballroom (Combined Function Rooms 1,2,3)
The Ballroom features natural light at the northern end, dual drop-down screens and ceiling mounted data projectors facing east. The Ballroom can be divided into three individual function rooms, should a smaller room or additional breakout rooms be required. It has a maximum capacity of 350 theatre style, 400 for a cocktail party or 220 for a sit-down dinner
Phoenix Rooms 1 & 2

Good location close to the trams and very nice restaurants. Room was disappointing very dated and the room I had chosen via their Website did not match the photo and had an interconnecting door ! The room had a weird smell too. Smelt like a Veterinary clinic...😆 We could hear the person in the next room opening a can of drink. This was disappointing for the price you pay 😕 these doors need to be better insulated. I mentioned my concern to front desk and Jordan was very helpful and organised another room for us for our next night's stay with a small additional fee. This room was nice but still dated and still with a interconnecting door ! Luckily the bed was on the other side of the room so no noise issue. This room matched the photo of the room I had booked with the exception of a spa bath. The bedding was different too which I thought was odd. I've never encountered different bedding before no matter what room I've chosen the bedding is always the same. Beds were comfortable and good pillows. No bathroom amenities toothbrush, comb shower cap etc. Shampoo, conditioner and body wash and body cream is supplied and smells very nice. Breakfast was ok, good variety but no "egg station" so couldn't have eggs your way. No chef standing by to take orders. Something else I've never experienced before at a high end establishment. Fine for me but not everyone wants scrambled eggs ! Pool area is lovely and relaxing. Lobby is inviting and smells nice. Would I stay at Legends again, not likely but would try the others under the Mantra umbrella on my next stay on the Gold Coast. Big thank you to Jordan 10/10 on service and to Sara as well.

Our stay was really good. Room 209 amazing for young kids,with no immediate balcony was great. Pool area Is really relaxing. Breakfast had everything you needed and more. Shout out to Nola who was super efficient and very kind to the young children, in the restaurant. Reception staff were all super accomadating. Really short walk to Cavill Ave and even shorter to the beach.

Highly Recommend!!!! My husband and I recently stayed for 5 nights and had the most amazing time. We had booked through a travel agent but when we arrived our booking couldn’t be found (turns out the travel agent had falsely advertised). The staff at reception were incredibly helpful and we ended up booking direct. I didn’t get their names but both ladies working around 2:30pm on Sunday May 17th, the lady working around 10pm on Wednesday May 20th and the assistant manager, who helped us book direct were amazing!! Extremely helpful and patient and fantastic service. We were here to celebrate my husband’s birthday and were given a room on the 18th floor with an amazing view over the ocean. We have stayed at a lot of hotels but the Mantra Legends in Surfers Paradise is easily the best one we have stayed at. Already planning our next trip back!! Thank you for an amazing stay!!!!

Ideally located, the property offers a stunning ocean view that truly enhances the overall experience. The pool area is a real highlight — inviting, well maintained, and perfect for relaxing. The staff, both at reception and within housekeeping, are consistently professional, attentive, and welcoming, contributing positively to the quality of the stay. The only minor drawback is that some of the furniture feels slightly dated and would benefit from a refresh to fully match the standard of the property. Overall, a very pleasant stay in a prime location. I would gladly return.

Had a great stay.Rooms are large and clean, Has a little balcony which is great to sit and look out .I had a view of the ocean. I was on the 14th Floor . Pool was good and the bar and seating area was nice. Reception very helpful .
