Reviews for Melbourne Cricket Ground

Having been a cricket player and aficionado, the MCG had long been a destination on my bucket list. On 17th April 25, I had the opportunity to visit. The MCG tour experience has left an indelible mark on my memory. The tour encompassed the players' room, recovery room, dressing cabins, umpire room, and photo gallery. I took great pride in seeing our cricketers' names on the Hall of Fame wall. The display of bats dating back to 1835 was fascinating. The presence of photographs featuring Gavaskar and Tendulkar was a source of pride. Taking photos while standing on the boundary line was a thrilling experience. My gratitude goes to K and T for organizing this trip. 🏏📸👏💕

An incredible stadium with great atmosphere. We visit most weeks for sporting events. Easy access via public transport- 75/48/70 trams and metro. Make sure to download your tickets to your phone wallet for quick entry. Lots of food and coffee outlets. MCG store is worth a visit. Sports museum tour is on my list of things to do. Prayer room located basement level M13

It was a privilege to attend the first two days of the most attended Test match ever (Australia vs. India - December 2024). The atmosphere, with 87,000 and 84,000 people respectively on the first two days, was absolutely stunning. The stadium itself offers excellent facilities for spectators. Outstanding view of the game from almost any area, because it such a huge arena. Public transport options (train and tram) are incredibly efficient—it’s amazing how 90000 people can leave the venue so quickly, without any hassle. The free water-filling stations for bottles are a fantastic feature, and the variety of food options, including hot meals, never ran out, which is impressive. It was even more impressive that there were so many counters and fast moving lines! We were fortunate to have covered seats on both days, which added to the comfort. The crowds are passionate, so it’s good to come prepared with some tolerance for the lively atmosphere. Overall, this is an iconic venue, and it was truly a privilege to experience it.

What a great game! The venue is fantastic and the seats were good. It's a large capacity stadium (90,000) and I think they had 80,000 there. It's loud but fun and good concessions and easy entry

Perfect. What else to say. It’s the best stadium in the world by far. Tigers had a great win so extra points 🤣. Great atmosphere and facilities. Best place on earth.
