Great location, close to the city. Upon arrival service was prompt, friendly and impeccable. I was able to organise parking beneath the building for a fee, which was perfect. The room was clean and well put together. However it does seem a little dated. TV worked perfectly as did the phone. The restaurant beneath (which also does the room service) was fantastic, only fault it that they close a little bit early. Will be back when next in Perth.

A very positive experience. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and made it easy to get a good night's sleep after long days. The front desk team were always friendly and helpful, whether it was assisting with check-in, providing local recommendations, or answering any questions I had during my stay. Overall, I felt well looked after and appreciated the welcoming atmosphere.

Had a comfortable stay. Hotel is clearly a bit older. There were obvious signs. However it was clean, well kept, comfortable.. and most importantly for this trip it was affordable. This was a whirlwind overnight trip for the football. Suited my needs perfectly

The hotel is very centrally located, with a great view to the cathedral. We walked to kings park, the quay, and right around the city. Rooms are comfortable, and the spread at breaky was great, well stocked and tasty. We would definitely stay here again. ** one thing to note- the windows are VERY soundproof- there was road works out the front when we were there, ALL NIGHT, and we barely heard a thing!!!

The house keeping people did not clean the room for three days to the point when I called the reception to report, the room got cleaned. There was this noise when any nearby rooms used water and this was very disturbing at nights when it is quieter outside. The buffet breakfast very very basic. With Another $10 more per night, you get much better facilities in Novotel where I stayed many times in the past. Just wanted to try a new place and very disappointed with Mercure.
