We had ONE complimentary bottle of water in our room, so having been a regular customer of a number of Perth hotels (mostly on business) I rang the reception to ask for another bottle to be sent up (thinking it was a mistake) as I refused to believe that they expected two people to share one small bottle. Imagine my surprise when I was told that that's 'the policy of the hotel' and they were unable to give me a second bottle. I have never had this limited 'obedience' to rules about a bottle of water! Staff being limited to 'policies' and 'rules' limits their helpfulness to guests, and eventually impedes service and politeness. The room was set up badly. If we wanted to watch TV we would be forced to sit on a potentially unclean couch as the TV didn't face the bed. There was a lot of waste of space in our opinion. The jets of the spa were yellowing and made it look unclean which didn't make us want to use it. The banging of neighbouring doors kept us awake. For the price we paid for the room - only because my husband is a romantic and wanted to stay in the room that we spent our wedding night in in 1991, I would have rather stayed at more beautifully appointed rooms in one of the nearby hotels (think Duxton, or Pan Pacific even). Very disappointed!

It's clean and modern while not being the flashiest of hotels, but that's part of its charm. Clean, spacious rooms, located in the CBD, with all you could want for in typical admin staff, and the cozy basement parking has a lot of character. My room had a bathtub, which I was delighted in as not every hotel offers one these days.

Loved the location as it’s close to the waterfront for morning and evening walks. The Novotel team were amazing, especially the buffet breakfast team. Food was decent however coffee machine needs to be serviced. As a platinum member, was upgraded to Single exec suite and check in process was easy, room was comfortable, clean and tidy. Overall enjoyable 3 nights in Novotel.

My husband and I stayed at Novotel Langley from January 1st to January 2nd, 2026, and we had a very pleasant stay. The gym is well-equipped, and there is a stretching area with a beautiful lake view, which was very relaxing and chill. The front desk staff were extremely professional and friendly. Unfortunately, our luggage was lost at the airport, but James at the front desk, along with other staff members, went above and beyond by contacting the airport and doing everything they could to help us retrieve our luggage. We are truly grateful for their support and are very satisfied with the excellent service provided by this hotel. The service exceeded our expectations, and we were extremely happy with our stay. Highly recommend this hotel, and we will definitely come back if we visit Perth again.

Great view from upper floor and gym. Decent room, maybe need new carpet, as there is a little hole. Quite affordable and easy to go around. Quiet area and you can do morning walk just across the road. There is also a playground nearby
