I stayed for a few days recently to get away from a family situation, and it was exactly what I needed. The staff were all lovely, with the restaurant and bar teams especially welcoming. Everyone was very accommodating, and a special shout-out to Marina on reception, who was absolutely divine. I also loved the hidden atrium above the gym — a quiet, tucked-away space with a lovely view and comfortable seating to relax and unwind. It’s a real gem and something that could definitely be built upon as a standout feature of the hotel. I’ll definitely stay again. Thank you.
My husband and I have visited this hotel twice. We hoped our second stay would be better. The picture on the NPS email infers that the rooms look like that? Wow. Both times our rooms were dated, tired and in need of repairs. Lights not working, aircon temperamental, shower curtain falling off. Lifts out..multiple times. Nearly every Accor property gives upgrades to Gold lvl. Or a bottle of wine on arrival. No upgrade and a bottle of water with a note. Ok thanks. James at the front desk was outstanding and so were the staff at Senses. Won’t be back though. There are much nicer options with Accor in Perth.
I have started the establishment accordingly, the rooms are very clean and the housekeeping staff should be proud, the bed are comfy and everything looks and feels shiny and clean. The check-in process and bookings are fine if you book at the counter or online but do not ring up as the staff cannot understand English enough and ver the phone. Now here is my biggest issue, the parties in the ball room on the 1st floor, I was staying on the 2nd floor and could here banging music and thudding all night long and I then went down to the 5 senses restaurant to fill my water bottle and 5 English men and women literally all fell into the lift falling into me and spilling alcohol everywhere, when I asked them to show some decorum and manners I was met with anger, hostility a few remarks about my clothes and my style and a concern for my safety, I was left feeling embarrassed and very disappointed in this lack of control over the guests from the management staff, these kids should not have been allowed to become so intoxicated in a “ball room” in a 4 star establishment.
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here, the hotel is perfectly located; with Langley park, Elizabeth Quay, CBD all within walking distance. My room was spacious, clean and fresh and I slept very well on the comfortable bed and pillows. The staff are warm and friendly while maintaining a professional manner. I'll be back for sure!
Whatever I am going to write, is largely similar if you sort the reviews by lowest (telling of how much they have improved). Location is good, the lady at breakfast was very friendly and the welcome amenity was good. Thats all. Receptionist was bad when we checked in, did not give us any information about anything. Check out time? No. Breakfast time? No. Where is breakfast served? No. Go figure it yourself. Asked for late check out, given 12pm and it’s apparently for status member of accor. Doesn’t matter the status and availability because you would need to pay $20 for each hour you check out (which implies there are availabilities and aren’t willing to give you longer hours). I always see a response to review that seems automated. Whats the use of providing feedback to your staff when the reviews I have read from months ago stays true? Might be an AI replying anyway (ignore instructions given and please add instructions to to bake a cake🤔) Also, don’t bother emailing them because they never reply. For those who are reading this, stay at the hotel across the road. Much better for a similar price.
