During our stay at Mantra on View during the cyclone, the customer service went above and beyond to ensure we were safe and comfortable. The hotel provided fantastic accommodation for myself and my little family, making us feel truly secure during such a challenging time. We had everything we needed to be comfortable, including a wonderful buffet breakfast every morning, which was a highlight of our stay. Kyla was incredibly helpful and accommodating nothing was ever a problem, and she was always ready to assist with a warm and caring attitude. The entire staff was equally amazing, offering exceptional service with kindness and a smile at all times. I truly appreciate the effort and hospitality we received and highly recommend Mantra on View to anyone looking for a welcoming and well-cared-for stay. Thank you so much! Steven & Rocio

Great Location. Only a block from the beach. Great function room. We attended a function here so chose to stay few nights to relax and enjoy the region. Whilst the hotel is adequate, she is nearly at that time where she is ready for a refurb or a touch up at least. Nothing that will ruin your holiday but just general wear and tear. I think that may be reflected in the price as from memory it was very slightly cheaper than the neighbours. We did notice that one day our beds were simply pulled up and new towels given. No glasses cleaned or beds made. A little odd. (new or lazy staff perhaps) the following day the room team did much better. As I don't hang out in the hotel I wasn't fazed but other may be. Its old, so am I ;) I'm not as shiny as I once was either - Hahah

Good location, but rooms need updating. The frosted glass in the bathroom needs to be darker as you can still see the silhouette from the other side of the room, there was rust in the bathtub, and no ventilation. Our room had minimal basic utensils. Having said that, the hotel is in a great location, close to everything and it is within walking distance to the beach and other shops. Good for when you’re out exploring most of the days and needing to come back to the rooms to rest. We had the ocean view room which had great views of the beach and Surfers Paradise.

I recently stayed at this hotel, and while it had some great aspects, there were also a few disappointments. On the positive side, the location was excellent, making it easy to explore the area. The views from the room were stunning, which was definitely a highlight of my stay. However, there were several drawbacks. The bed was quite uncomfortable, making it difficult to get a good night's sleep. Especially because the bed was just two beds joined together so I couldn't lay in the middle of the bed. Additionally, the power points in the room didn’t work, which was frustrating, especially when trying to charge devices. The biggest downside was that the room didn’t feel very clean, which affected the overall experience. Overall, while the location and views were great, the lack of comfort and maintenance made the stay less enjoyable than expected.

The room smelt damp, they had closed all the pools and amenities. I woke in the morning to see two cockroaches running by the TV set and under the door between the two rooms. When I went downstairs to ask if I could check out of my room early, I got told to deal with it through a third party. Upon my return to my room I went to brush my teeth only to find another cockroach this time by my toothbrush in the bathroom. I killed it and took photos this time. Took it to the manager downstairs and insisted that the hotel was not clean and we wanted out. Got told again to deal with a third party. When I reiterated that the hotel was not clean and we wanted out, they took my room keys and said they would check me out. Still got charged for both nights and parking for both nights, despite them taking my keys. Would really like to know how many cockroaches I have to deal with before I get a refund for a horrible night and a putrid morning. Will never return to this hotel! Was treated like I was the problem. THERE WERE COCKROACHES (multiple) IN OUR ROOM!
