Holiday with family 2 adults and 2 children. Ocean view room LVL 15. Booking via the all.com app is key to get a great deal staying here and being even a beginner member gets you a lot of perks. The location is right in surfers. Attached to a mall all your needs can be met next door. Don't need to bring beach towels. We basically lived in the hotel pool which was so nice and entertained the kids endlessly. Guest laundry is much cheaper than other nearby laundromats and as effective. Staff are the gem of this hotel. Each will help you to the ends of the earth and they all are so interesting and nice. Warm afternoons I spent some of the time just sitting out in the balcony staring at the view and letting the warm breeze take me away. I would easily come back again because this place gave me all that Surfers had to offer and more whilst being reasonable on my wallet. All the usual things are given such as being clean as well.

Absolutely enjoyed my stay at Novotel. Based right in the heart of Surfer's Paradise, you have access to the beaches, restaurants and tourist attractions within mere minutes. The staff were very attentive and the facilities are great. Rooms are affordable and the breakfast buffet is an excellent add on.

Things we liked: 1. location - easy walk to shops and beach 2. View - ocean view from balcony 3. Comfy bed 4. Good pillows 5. Nice bathroom 6. Included minibar 7. Pool was nice Things that could be improved: Check in - the line was longer than we would hope for. We only stayed one night but I would come back here for a longer stay. Exceeded my expectations!

I will never ever stay at Novotel again. The reception was always understaffed. Our first night, the light in the bathroom basin didn’t work. We then booked a second night in a different room and requested ocean view. When we went in the morning to check on our room, we were informed that reservations had not booked it and now the hotel was fully booked and therefore no room for us. Despite the fact we had received a booking confirmation email. We were then placed in a room for a cheaper rate and told we could not access the balcony due to maintenance. we took this room as we had no where else to stay. We then had to inform the staff that there was a leak in the bathroom shower and no sound on the TV. we wont be staying here again. its definitely worth paying a little extra for a decent hotel with efficient staff.

Have a few questions about the “green” policy: we are expected to “go green” and not use new towels and save the water, while at breakfast the coffee comes from disposable coffee capsules (?). The pool is quite small. At the check-in I was asked to pay for my accomodation, though I paid two months before, and it took a bit of time to sort out. Everything else - the location, the hotel, the food- are splendid.
