Reviews for Pullman Melbourne Albert Park

This Pullman was our worst Accor Hotel experience to date. It was so far below even basic motel standards that we cancelled our original three night stay to just one night. On arrival, it took nearly 10 minutes before any front-of-house staff acknowledged us, despite there being no one else waiting and staff only handling a phone query. The hallway to our room smelled bad and was noticeably dirty. When we opened the room, we found large stains covering the carpet, breaks and gaps in the skirting boards, and a bed that, while neatly made, sagged deeply in the middle. The TV was not functioning properly. Having stayed in over 40 Accor hotel rooms already this year, with at least 20 more nights booked overseas, this was by far the worst. We cancelled our stay within an hour of checking in. Providing adequate customer service training for all staff and perhaps visiting other Pullman hotels around Australia, particularly the Pullman Sydney Airport Hotel would be a good start toward making a real change. I strongly recommend avoiding this hotel if you are expecting a five-star experience. Based on our stay, I believe it should be rebranded and removed from the Accor portfolio. The customer service fell well short of Accor standards, and we felt completely unwelcome. We would not stay here again, even if the room were offered for free. This is our genuine experience and honest review of this hotel.

My recent visit at the Pullman Melbourne Albert Park was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with warm, professional service that set the tone for the entire visit. The front desk team was efficient, friendly, and eager to assist with any questions or special requests. The hotel itself is modern, stylish, and impeccably maintained. My room was spacious, spotless, and beautifully designed with contemporary furnishings and a stunning view of Albert Park Lake. The restaurant and bar areas are also beautifully designed and perfect for both casual dining and professional meetings. The location is ideal—peaceful and scenic, with Albert Park Lake right across the road, yet still close to Melbourne’s city centre and St Kilda. Whether you’re staying for business or leisure, the setting offers the best of both worlds. What truly sets this hotel apart is the attention to detail and the genuine care shown by the staff. Every interaction—from housekeeping to concierge—was delivered with a smile and a commitment to making my stay as comfortable as possible. Highly recommended for business travellers, couples, or anyone looking to experience Melbourne in style and comfort!

Disappointing Location is excellent, but that is it. The mattresses need to be replaced. Thanks to the mattress topper, the bed was soft. The mattress however, sagged significantly in the middle. Their king sized bed is only 2 single beds, so I couldn't sleep in the middle of the bed. The other mattress was the same. Staff was unable to supply a different mattress as 'they are all the same age'. A second mattress topper was helpful. If you have neck or back problems, don't choose this hotel. The shower was very narrow, esp with the bottles on the shower wall. I'm small, yet still found the width difficult. The shower temperature varied significantly from tepid to scalding without touching the tap. The scalding temperature was unsafe. On discussing the problem of the mattress with the manager, he spoke with me in the restaurant in front of other people. That was embarrassing. I had a male staff member come into my room whilst I was in the bathroom. He knocked, but I didn't know if it was my room or next door. I was also indisposed so didn't want to call out. He then came into my room without declaring himself to deliver an item. I was still in the bathroom which didn't have a lock. Not happy or safe. I will not being staying again.

I had to ask 5 times for the champagne and fruit platter to be brought to the room despite booking this in before hand. Also the room phone didn't work. Also I organised a baby cot to be in the room when we arrived and it wasn't there. Check out: I cleared the bill and even asked that the car parking was all paid for, then when exiting the boom gate kept asking for an additional $15 payment. This took over 40 minutes to sort out.

Traveling for work can often be hectic and stressful, so finding a hotel that’s easy to access and offers convenient parking makes all the difference. The Pullman Hotel in Albert Park was a great choice—modern, stylish, and welcoming, with a calm and relaxing atmosphere. The rooms were clean, tidy, and quiet, providing the perfect space to unwind after a busy day. The location is fantastic as well, with Albert Park right outside, making it easy to get out for a walk and enjoy some fresh air.
