A truly fantastic experience at this hotel! While the convenient location, excellent parking, and diverse breakfast buffet were all much appreciated, what truly stood out was the exceptional service. We particularly want to applaud the hotel management for having Bijay as part of their staff. He is a masterclass in customer service , so courteous, friendly, and genuinely helpful. During a bit of a tricky evacuate alarm due to a system problem, he went above and beyond to reassure my daughter and keep her calm. His positive attitude and willingness to assist are truly commendable. We're already looking forward to our next stay!
We were very disappointed with our stay at this hotel. The mattresses are visibly old, dirty, and sagging—making it impossible to get a proper night's rest. Additionally, the check-in process was slow and disorganized. Although our room was supposed to be ready at 3:00 PM, we didn’t get access until 3:30 PM, and the staff always said check later for your room. Overall, we expected a more professional service for the price we paid in a 4.5 star hotel, we were hopping much cleaner room conditions. The Ibis budget central where we stayed after, had better beds and better service. Buffet breakfast was good 👍
Stayed with my two children last night.. the service staff upon arrival were very polite and professional, gave me all the info I needed in regard to parking, check in / out times, breakfast (really nice by the way.. would recommend) very well priced for an inner city stay on a weekend!! Super convenient location with multiple forms of public transport within short walking distance.. room was very clean and well presented, I love that they put a family group on the same floor as the pool.. someone thought about that and it was greatly appreciated.. beds were comfortable and clean with a sofa bed made up for my daughter that was surprisingly comfy (I'm not usually a fan of them but this one was great) All in all a highly recommendable experience
I really enjoyed my stay at Rydges Surry Hills. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast was amazing, with heaps of choices—delicious food and great quality. The location is excellent, and the bed was super comfortable. The room was also more spacious than average. The rate was a little higher than usual due to the school holidays and Easter break. There was a bit of a wait for the lift—but hey, I’m on holiday, so I didn’t mind at all. Highly recommend!
We stayed here for one night as we were going to a concert at the Opera House the next day. The room was on the 7th floor, it was clean and spacious with a very soft( dare I say too soft) king bed. We had dinner at the adjoining Sydney Brewery and managed to hit their happy hour😁 breakfast was a lovely buffet in the Manna loft. Parking was a little pricey at $58, but in saying that it was for a full 24 hours. We arrived about an hour earlier than the 2pm check in time but we were fortunate that they had a room ready for us. We would definitely stay here again.
