I upgraded my review to five stars based on the excellent service on my 2nd stay this year. Rooms still showing age but clean. Was pouring last day of our stay: staff kindly flagged down taxi for us then brought out umbrellas to keep us dry while we went into taxi. SUGGESTION: install handles next to bathtub for safety so guests can get out of tub safely. ——- Good basic 3 star hotel that is clean and in a good location. Noisy in room as we can hear street noises, voices, water flow. Beds and pillows are uncomfortably soft. Breakfast is basic but good. Concierge is great.

We stayed for 4 nights and it was a nice stay, the service was great, they were very helpful in providing a cot for our baby that was nice and clean and at no extra charge. As parents travelling with kids, not having to worry about our room helped a lot, we managed to have a nice little set up for our stay. You had the option of opting in or out of housekeeping any day if you wanted. The room had a double bed and had a separate shower and bath. It had plenty of power outlets as well. It was just the right size for a family with kids. If travelling there by car, parking was fairly straightforward just ask the staff if you have any questions. It was a nice location, close to trams which we used everyday and there was a shop close by if you needed anything. Overall no complaints from my family. Thank you :)

Rooms looking dated, bed was really soft/old cheap. No bench area to sit out suitcases so needed to sit on floor. No mini bar in the room, you need to order through the QR code which they charge you an extra $5 on top of your selection! Overall service from all staff was very average and not that friendly. Would not stay again. I guess you get what ya pay for!

Rooms are incredibly outdated, the bed sagged in the middle and was so uncomfortable, the lights in the hallway shone brightly through the door and the shower leaked practically flooding the bathroom. Location is great in the heart of the CBD, but that is the only positive I would give my experience. I also paid for breakfast that by the time we came down for at 10 am on a Sunday and it looked like nothing had been recently replaced, and most of it looked uneatable. Very very disappointed, especially given the price I paid for a king room. The following morning, the staff seemed more interested in checking in and looking after the cabin crew from Singapore Airlines (who I must say were all very rude) rather than care for other guests. I should have just flushed $500 down the toilet!!

Unfortunately, not all hotels in this location are good (see my other review), but I felt very comfortable here. My room had a modern bathroom, decent amount of space, well maintained, very good cleaning every day, and overall just a positive environment with people, bar and cafe. No wonder the airlines book their stewards/stewardesses in here. I can only recommend the hotel and if you forget something, like I did, you get it back, even if the hotel reception has to wait three weeks for you to get back to the hotel. Thank you very much!
