While at the wedding expo, I experienced a joyful and romantic atmosphere. The staff were professional and offered a warm welcome. The food, snacks, champagne, and services were excellent. The view was also lovely. I had a very enjoyable time!

Stayed here for a few nights while on holiday in Queensland. The staff are excellent and friendly, rooms are classic and spacious. The breakfast is genuinely excellent. You won’t be disappointed if you stay here. Only downside was there were some roadworks going on at the time and the underground car parking has a bit of a strange ticket system you constantly have to get validated at reception to get out. Definitely worth the money.

All in all, ups and downs, but a solid experience. The rate we had was definitely value for money. Liked · Room was very spacious, had river/pool views which was great. And being in the cbd is very handy to restaurants and tourist events. Easy walking. Disliked · 1. During our stay, there was a water problem and we had no water for a period of time, unfortunately for me I was mid shower and soaped up when this happened. Outage lasted for a good few hours, then for a while after, the water was brown. 2. As we arrived the valet/concierge were a little bit pushy and slightly aggressive wanting us to quickly give them our car. We didn't need the on-site car park, it felt like they were on commission per vehicle.

The most comfortable bed/pillows and the rooms are very soundproof. So expect to sleep in! 11am checkout, so you can! The breakfast buffet was fine but a bit ordinary for such a nice hotel.

We went for high tea for a bridal shower. Have to say pretty underwhelmed by the whole thing. The crockery used was plain white and cheap, the food was ok but nothing to write home about. High tea is supposed to be served on pretty china and when you're paying $60+ per head at the Stamford I would have expected a lot better
