I stayed for five nights and had breakfast at the hotel each morning. One of the staff immediately remembered that I always have green tea and would promptly bring a pot of tea virtually without me asking. The breakfast selection was sizeable and varied. The room had a partial river view and was comfortable. The vanity kit was placed in a small box under one area of the sink, and items were promptly replaced if you left an empty package near the kit.

If you tell them it's great they'll come, apparently! I found the staff warm, friendly and genuine, however the room was very very tired and worn. Furnishings heavily marked and I do expect more for $670p/n. Mould in shower recess. The room doesn't feel fresh. The bed was comfortable. The pool and spa enjoyable over 2 days however I did stand on squishy objects that startled me. The buffet breakfast was nice but not fantastic. The location suited my needs

The hotel could use refreshing. The mattress is saggy. The location is convenient, close to the river bank and the Story bridge. The executive lounge is rather small with limited selections, although I only used it for breakfast. The bar and restaurant closed at 10pm on a Thursday night. The wall is quite thin, I could hear there neighboring room. With my Platinum status I was "upgraded" to a room with the view. I think Bonvoy programs in Europe, Asia and Middle East treat their members better with the room upgrades.

Our recent stay was a mix of positive and negative. The staff was absolutely wonderful—friendly, attentive. However, we found the hotel's physical state to be quite outdated. The decor and furnishings feel like they are from another era, and the facilities are in need of a significant refresh. For the night rate the quality of the accommodation didn't meet the expectations. A modern update would make this a truly great place to stay.

Very nice room. Well serviced. Great breakfast. The modern world requires too many things that have to stay alight at night in hotel rooms now. Not their fault.
